Its original name was the Kr\u00e1\u013eovsk\u00fd nos, or even the Karbunkulov\u00e1 ve\u017ea, according to treasure seekers and on its unreachable top there is the gem Karbunkul, to which several legends are attached. The first known ascent was made by Lajo\u0161 Petrik with mountain guides \u0160tefan and Matej Faith in July 28th 1891. They were probably not the first on the peak, as the young count \u0160tefan T\u00f4k\u00f4ly from Ke\u017emarok, whose death remained as unexplained same as J.A. Papyrus\u00b4, who died in this locality in 1771.
